Registration is Open
The Summer Splash 5k race is a family friendly event that also includes a kids dash. It will start and finish near a great playground, which includes a splash pad, so please stick around after the event and play for a while.
The 5k course is 3.1 miles along the Keene Road Trail, starting next to the Badger Mountain Park splash pad. The out-and-back course heads east from the park and turns around where the 12-ft wide paved trail crosses Bellerive Road. The course will be marked with chalk and cones and traffic control volunteers will be at each road crossing (Elementary St / Leslie Rd / Venus Cir) to help as crossing guards.
The Kids Splash Dash is a 1⁄2 mile fun run/walk that stays within the Badger Mountain Community Park and follows the paved loop path around the fields and splash pad. This is FREE and open to anyone 12 years old and younger.
All participants will need to sign a waiver and anyone under 18 years old will need the waiver signed by a parent.

Water and snacks will be available at the finish line.

Registration
Your entry fee covers the race, age group awards for the 5k, a finisher award for the kid's dash, and snacks at the finish line.
5k Race Pricing will be $20 Online (until May 31st), $25 Online (until July 31st), and then it will increase to $30 for in-person registration on race day (cash / check / venmo). Note that children 12 & Under are FREE with a paid parent (after registering the parent, please contact us for discount code to use for the child)
The Kids Splash Dash is FREE and open to anyone 12 & Under.
Awards & Prizes
The 5k race will be timed and results will be posted online after the event. The 1⁄2 mile kids run will not be timed.
An award will be presented to the top female and male finisher in the 5k. Awards will also be presented to the 3 top female and male finishers of each age group in the 5k: 0-9, 10s, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70+
All finishers of the Kids Splash Dash will receive an award.
Rules
In addition to the following, all rules posted under General Rules apply.
There are three road crossings. While each one has a crosswalk and will have volunteers to assist in crossing, you are responsible to stay in the crosswalk and to obey the applicable laws. If traffic is not stopping for you, then you must wait until it is safe to enter the crosswalk.
