About Delta Endurance

Delta Endurance was started in 2022 in an effort to give back to the local running community and to help others have more opportunity and support to stay active.

I recently started directing races and will slowly add more races as I see a need, interest, and opportunity within the area. These will not be specific to road, trails, 5k's, or marathons... just a distance and format that I think would be successful in the community. Again, the goal is to provide more opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to be active.  When it comes to business, my philosophy is that quality should come before profit so I will always strive to give the participants a great experience.  If you have some ideas for new races, or have a comment about making a current race even better, please reach out so we can discuss.

I'm also wanting to help others avoid some of the mistakes I have made along the way when it comes to running. I have had some successes and many failures (i.e. injuries) that I have learned from. I have been making customized training programs for friends and family for a few years now, ranging from walk-to-run up to marathon plans. These are tailored to your life and goals and include support along the way. If you are interested in a training plan or advice on how to start running, race planning, what gear to use, or anything else please send me a message and perhaps I can help.

About Me

My background is engineering, I sit or stand at a desk most days, and I run to 1) stay active, 2) challenge myself, 3) find my limits, and 4) as a way to de-stress.  While I have been running for most of my life in one way or another, I have run competitively for the last 20 years.  To date, I have completed 44 races of a marathon distance (26.2m), or longer, and aim to finish at least 100.  My personal best times are 3:04 (marathon), 1:23 (half marathon), 37:29 (10k), and 17:37 (5k), which have all been within the last 2 years.  My current running ambitions are to run under a 3 hour marathon, finish a marathon in each of the 50 states, and keep exploring the 100+ mile distance races.

I feel it is important to share that I am not a road runner, a trail runner, an ultra runner, or a marathoner... I love it all and consider myself just a runner.  Thank you for reading this and I hope to see you at the races, on the trails, or just out and about...
